These natural nitrifying, denitrifying and facultative bacterial strains have been selected for their ability to transform ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen. The ammoblocker contained in AQUA´TURTLE ODOR helps neutralize bad odors by reducing the production of nitrites by trapping ammoniacal nitrogen. Prodibio recommends the use of filtration in the aquaterrarium. Both products, Aqua´Turtle Odor and Aqua´Turtle Bacter, should be used at the same time and with each water change.
